Rapper Flavor Flav is out of jail after he was arrested for driving on a suspended license when police caught him speeding on the way to his mother’s funeral in Long Island yesterday. Flav, real name William Drayton, was doing 79 in a 55 when he was pulled over. Police say they found 16 suspensions on his license. Officers did, however, take pity on Flav and released him so he could attend the funeral.
Congratulations go out to “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jessie Williams as he welcomed his first child. His wife Aryn Drake-Lee gave birth to a girl Sadie. It’s the first child for the couple. They’ve been married for a little more than a year.
Amanda Bynes is expected to get off on those charges that she threw a bong out of her NYC apartment. Amanda, who is due in court today, will not enter a plea and will instead continue therapy for the next six months, according to TMZ. If she stays out of trouble during that time, she’ll then have the charges dismissed.
Former “Dancing with the Stars” competitor J.R. Martinez has split from his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his child. Diana Gonzalez-Jones had given birth to Lauryn Anabelle just 18 months ago. The Iraq war veteran released a statement about the breakup saying the couple is “committed to working together to raise our daughter in a healthy and happy environment.”
Times are tough for Tori Spelling…first her husband Dean McDermott is rumored to have cheated on her with a 28-year-old in December, and now she’s facing money woes. Last month, the 40-year-old moved into this $10,500 a month Tudor rental in Los Angeles’ Encino neighborhood. While that’s a huge monthly tab for most people, it’s a dramatic downsize from her previous $2.5 million home she sold two years ago and the $85 million mansion in which she spent her childhood. The good news is that this rental still has 7,000 square feet, so it’s hardly too cozy, and she’s got a new gig costarring with Jennie Garth in the new ABC family series “Mystery Girls.”
The house where Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom lived together can now be yours. The former couple has put their 8,000 square-foot mansion up for sale. They are asking $5.5 million for the home they originally paid less than $4 million for in 2009. They show was the location where much of their reality series was filmed. The couple filed for divorce last month. Imagine all that happy memories you can now own!!!
The mouse is firing back after Meryl Streep’s takedown of Walt Disney during a speech Tuesday. Streep accused the entertainment icon of being a “gender bigot” and of supporting “an anti-Semitic industry lobbying group.” The Walt Disney Museum tweeted, “Hey @officialMStreep! Want the real truth about Walt Disney? Visit the museum and we’ll give you a tour. Or, you know… Google it. 
” They also added a link to a blog by a former Disney animator that described Walt as a “man of his time” whose views on women and minorities evolved with the rest of society. Tough call here but I’m guessing most men of his era wouldn’t look too good today!!!
It’s a light weekend at the box office with just one new movie making its debut. “The Legend of Hercules” stars Kellan Lutz in the mythical role. Gaia Weiss and Scott Adkins are also featured in the classic Greek tale.
