Jennie Garth is asking for privacy in the wake of news that she and husband Peter Facinelli are ending their 11year marriage, but she will soon be sharing her life with us in a new CMT reality TV show.
CMT says the halfhour series “Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country” follows the former 90210 star and mother of three as she decides to leave Hollywood behind in search of a simpler life. She moves to a sevenacre farm in Los Olivos, Calif. CMT notes, “It’s a move that will either give her the allAmerican lifestyle she has always dreamed of or turn her family’s world completely upside down.”
In a 2007 People story, Garth said she’s a country girl (she spent her childhood on a ranch in Illinois), and Facinelli described himself as a city boy (he is a native New Yorker). “We’re completely different,” he said. “She loves the quiet and I love the sound of traffic.”
It debuts April 20 on CMT at 9 p.m. ET.
