It's always a treat when great cinematic minds come together for a project, and "The Master" has just released a brilliant new teaser trailer.
The Paul Thomas Anderson flick, slated for an October 12th release looks to be a challenging flick, marked by strong acting, directing and stark aesthetic.
"The Master's" cast includes notable names like Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, and the mysterious Joaquin Phoenix (thankfully sans beard).
Per the synopsis, "The Master is a 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as 'the Master' whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man."
