LOS ANGELES Court records show Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli have each filed divorce petitions in Los Angeles.
The filings Wednesday afternoon come two weeks after the former couple announced they planned to end their marriage of nearly11 years.
The pair are parents to three children and are seeking joint custody.
Garth rose to fame in the 1990s TV series "Beverly Hills, 90210″ and appeared in the 200810 sequel. Facinelli is a costar in the "Twilight" movie franchise. The couple married in January 2001.
Garth competed in "Dancing With the Stars" in 2007, with Facinelli applauding her from the audience.
The filings were first reported Wednesday by celebrity website TMZ.
